The position performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Responsibilities include patient preparation, magnetic resonance safety, equipment operation, image evaluation, contrast administration, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team. Job Details Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiography program; registered in Radiography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); approved Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Information: Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures under the order of a licensed medical practitioner. Prepares and instructs patients, applies magnetic resonance safety principles, operates magnetic resonance systems and associated equipment, positions and immobilizes patients, performs venipuncture, maintains venous access, administers contrast media, verifies consent and screening forms, assists with interventional procedures, practices aseptic technique, evaluates image quality, reconstructs digital data, maintains required records, archives images, and initiates basic life support actions when necessary. Flexible hours, alternate shifts, weekends, and on-call coverage may be required. May provide instruction to partners and students and participate in committees and projects.
