Travel MRI Technologist - $2,570 per week

Travel MRI Technologist position in Columbus, OH for a 13‑week assignment starting 10/26/2026. Night shift (3×12‑hour shifts, 18:00–06:30), 36 hours per week. Traveler’s permanent residence must be more than 100 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on (2) 1.5T Siemens Aera scanners
• Conduct neuro, musculoskeletal, and abdominal examinations
• Execute specialty exams: breast MRI, MR enterography, and imaging of patients with pacemakers
• Scan ICU patients regularly using MRI‑safe ventilator, IVAC, and monitoring equipment
• No cardiac, prostate, CSF flow studies, or MSA extremity exams performed
• No conscious sedation administered

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist (1.5 years considered with strong Level I/large hospital background)
• Proficiency with Siemens MRI scanners
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Cardiac MRI experience strongly preferred
• IV start experience strongly preferred

Schedule & Call

• Shift: 3×12‑hour nights (18:00–06:30)
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Holidays assigned as needed
• Call: 3 weekday day shifts per month + 1 weekend call every 12 weeks
