Travel MRI Technologist - $2,706 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Brunswick, Maine. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts immediately.

• Successful completion of a Radiology program of study with specialization in MRI
• One year’s experience as an MRI Tech
• Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ARRT or equivalent certification (preferred)

Essential Work Functions

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment
• Administer intravenous injections of contrast dye
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters
• Document procedure details and collaborate with healthcare teams

Required Essential Skills

• Critical thinking and service excellence
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read/write in English
• Read/write instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficient in PC skills
• Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the general public, work under close supervision, work without assistance, and maintain continuous concentration to detail
• Sensory: possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
