About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Portland, Maine.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging sessions.
• Accurately document patient information and procedure details.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an MRI Technologist.
• Experience in MRI technology, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited MRI technologist training program.
• Passing scores on relevant certification exams.

Skills

• Proficient in MRI equipment operation and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Schedule
