The role involves effective communication with patients and radiologists, as well as operating advanced MRI equipment to deliver diagnostic images across various areas of the body. Job Details Position: MRI Technologist Location: Michigan Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday; 12-hour days; 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification; ARRT (MR) certification; valid state drivers license, if applicable; minimum of 0 years of MRI experience in high volume environments preferred. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic images, interviewing patients to explain procedures, managing patient safety including pre-screening and aseptic techniques, and troubleshooting scanner and equipment issues. Effective communication with radiologists and customers, training and supervising new technologists and Patient Coordinators, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols are essential. Local travel may be required. Submission of appropriate credentials is necessary for consideration.
