Travel MRI Technologist - $2,405 per week
Location: Rochester, NY | Start: 11/16/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | 36 hrs/week, 12‑hr day shifts (3×12) | Travel contract
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently operate MRI machinery, ensure patient comfort during procedures, and collaborate with physicians to deliver timely imaging results. Applicants should have a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.
- Coordinate with physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
- Document all imaging procedures while upholding patient confidentiality.
- Perform patient care tasks as necessary.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of MRI Technologist experience.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
- Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is mandatory.
- Certification through the ARRT or an equivalent organization is preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain certification if not currently possessed.
Schedule
3×12‑hour shifts; no university holidays and no call. Specific shift times: Saturday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, Monday 9:30 AM–10:00 PM.
Pay
Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
