Travel MRI Technologist - $2,339 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering Hospital in Petersburg, Virginia. As an MRI Tech, you’ll use advanced imaging technology to provide high-quality diagnostic scans that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.

Travel contract, 13 weeks with possibility to extend. 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. Start date: ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT or ARMRIT or CAMRT registered
• Phillips MRI Systems experience
• Current state license (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center
• Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills

Pay

$2,168 – $2,339 per week (based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week. 8-hour day shifts.
