Travel MRI Technologist - $2,295 per week

About the role

MRI Technologist in the MRI specialty, located in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves operating MRI equipment to produce detailed images of patients' anatomy, supporting diagnostic processes. The position requires the ability to follow protocols closely and ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Schedule

• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• Saturday: 7:00 am – 11:00 pm
• Minimum 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts)

Responsibilities

• Position patients on examining tables and place coils close to the area of interest
• Follow protocols as specified by the radiologist
• Demonstrate use of microphones for patient communication
• Enter patient data into the computer system
• Observe images to ensure quality
• Alert staff to any safety concerns related to metal objects around the magnet

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• NJ State registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) license
• MRI certification
• BLS certification
• 1–3 years of experience as an MRI Technician
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
• Excellent communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Ability to work independently

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
