About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently.
- Absorb patients and coils onto MRI scanning tables and observe images on computer monitors during scans.
- Ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety within the MRI scanner's powerful magnetic field.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
- Comply with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
- Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in critical care settings.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
