About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Clinic MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Work in an adult outpatient spine clinic setting
- Focus on spine diagnoses and musculoskeletal cases
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required
- Operate Philips Ingenia 1.5T MRI units and Visage PACS
- Use Epic EMR system
- No call, float, or weekend requirements
- Work 5 days a week, 8 hours each day
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of MRI technologist experience
- ARRT MR certification
- Epic proficiency
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in an adult outpatient work setting
- Proficiency with contrast media preparation and/or administration
- Philips MRI equipment and PACS proficiency
- Radiation safety knowledge
- Peripheral IV start experience
Qualifications
- Must live within 50 miles of the facility
- First-time travelers are not considered
- Former permanent, PRN, or EP staff must wait 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Prior employment must be disclosed including facility name and dates
- Rehire approval is required
- No RTO during the first week of the assignment
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved provided it does not fall on a holiday
- Pre-start online modules must be completed prior to the start date
- Two manager or supervisor professional references from within the past 2 years are highly preferred

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
