About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate scanners safely and efficiently.
- Absorb patients and coils onto MRI tables and observe images on monitors during scans.
- Inject contrast media as needed and set appropriate technical parameters.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
- Ensure compliance with technical and professional regulations.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
- Eighteen months of MRI tech experience, preferably in critical care settings.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Pay
Pay package is based on 15-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
