Travel MRI Technologist - $2,009 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients. The position offers a variety of benefits including weekly pay, full coverage of credentialing fees, private housing or housing allowance, and travel reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently.
• Ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety within the MRI environment.
• Set appropriate technical parameters, operate MRI scanners, and observe image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Comply with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
• Eighteen months of MRI tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

Qualifications include a valid state radiology license, completion of a two-year approved school of radiologic technology, and eight months of MRI tech experience. Preference is given to candidates with critical care experience.

Skills

Essential skills include proficiency in MRI operations, ability to recognize normal and abnormal images, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.
