Travel MRI Tech - $3,112 per week

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist for a hospital imaging department in Rochester, New York. This is a 13‑week travel assignment starting November 9, 2026, with one opening. The role covers an adult acute care and outpatient MRI setting, handling approximately 20 visits per day across a single scanner. Floating is required. Job ID: P‑761342.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, Monday through Friday
• Hours: 5 × 8‑hour shifts, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekly total: 40 hours
• Assignment length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, breast, head and neck, brain, and spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic)
• Operate GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba MRI equipment with PACS integration
• Execute special imaging procedures including diffusion, gradient echo imaging, perfusion, multiplanar reconstruction, and image post‑processing
• Follow isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• New York state license required upon start (where applicable)
• EPIC charting experience
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted)
• First‑time travelers accepted

Additional information

• Candidates with more than 10 days of requested time off (RTO) will not be considered
• Previous employees may be considered for rehire after a 6‑month system‑wide break in service
