Travel MRI Tech - $2,707 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and GE and EPIC experience for an imaging center within a hospital system in York, Pennsylvania. This is a 13‑week travel assignment starting November 16, 2026, at 36 hours per week (three 12‑hour day shifts). The facility serves adult acute‑care and outpatient populations.

• Imaging areas: abdomen, pelvis, chest, breast, head and neck, brain, face/soft tissue neck, and spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic)
• Special procedures: diffusion (non‑brain), gradient echo imaging, perfusion, multiplanar reconstruction, and image post‑processing (ADC mapping, subtraction)
• Equipment: GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba scanners with PACS system
• No call requirements; no floating required

Schedule

• Day shift: 3×12‑hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required every weekend (Saturday/Sunday 7 AM – 7 PM, Monday 9 AM – 9 PM)
• Holiday coverage: travelers work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s); if the contract spans only 2 holidays, 1 of 2 is required
• Requested time off limited to a maximum of 7 days

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist
• BLS and ARMRIT certification required; ARRT‑R preferred
• State license required if applicable
• EPIC charting experience required
• GE equipment experience required
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Pay
