Travel MRI Tech - $2,482 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for an outpatient imaging center in Alexandria, Virginia. This 13-week travel contract starts 11/01/2026, offers 40 hours per week on an 8-hour shift (14:30–23:00), and requires ARRT MRI licensure, BLS (AHA), two years of experience, strong IV skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures utilizing advanced equipment such as the 3T GE Hero.
• Provide excellent patient care and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with imaging team to deliver timely and accurate imaging services.
• Adhere to all radiation and safety guidelines during procedures.
• Assist in potential weekend, holiday, and call shifts as needed.

Requirements

• BLS certification (must be American Heart Association)
• ARRT licensed in MRI
• 2 years of MRI experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong IV skills
• Ability to work independently

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,374.95 – $2,493.70 (based on 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week; tax-free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

Shift: 14:30–23:00 (8 hours), 40 hours per week. Potential weekend, holiday, and call shifts as needed.
