Travel MRI Tech - $1,551 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment in Montclair, New Jersey. The role requires at least one year of experience and ARMRIT/ARRT MR certifications, and is open to first‑time travelers who reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, pelvic, head and neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI studies
• Perform MRA and MRV studies (abdominal, head, neck, thoracic)
• Perform cardiovascular imaging including MR Aortogram, MR Pulmonary, and MR Angio with bilateral runoff
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment
• Chart examinations in Epic
• Work Monday‑Friday evenings from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Complete an on‑call requirement of 8 hours per pay period, every other Sunday

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Valid state license (if applicable)

Qualifications

• ARMRIT certification
• ARRT MR certification

Skills

• Community hospital experience (preferred)
• Experience starting peripheral IVs (preferred)
• Pediatric acute care and outpatient imaging experience (preferred)
• Breast, chest, and myocardium MRI experience (preferred)
• MR Cardiac imaging with and without contrast and with stress (preferred)
