About the role
The Millwright Supervisor will manage the day-to-day activities of a team of Millwrights and is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of millwright work at the assigned location.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a crew that works on the operation of large industrial equipment such as power generators, turbines, mining devices, assembly line machinery, and machinist tools.
- Organize crews, delegate job responsibilities, and verify that all appropriate equipment is available onsite to complete the job safely.
- Drive and pull equipment to various regional locations.
- Engage with prospects, clients, and vendors to determine their needs, recommending services that align with these requirements.
- Demonstrate the functionality and benefits of services tailored to customer needs, emphasizing practical value and application.
- Enforce jobsite safety to comply with all OSHA regulations and the hth companies' Safety Program.
- Actively champion a positive workplace and safety culture.
- Act as a liaison for all site leadership in their region and maintain positive client relations.
- Actively develop and maintain a high-performing team dedicated to customer service.
- Perform various other duties and functions as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the construction/industrial field with some management experience.
- Class B CDL is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to use a variety of tools, which may include blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of safety principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Teams and Office Suite or related software.

Physical Abilities
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairways regularly throughout the work shift.
- Ability to observe conditions and others as safety attendant, staying alert while seated for long periods of time as needed.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other tools and equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
- Ability to perform inspections of site, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to perform behavioral observations focused on safety and process improvement.
- Ability to follow safety protocol and report any incident, unsafe act, or unsafe condition immediately to the site supervisor and safety manager.
Training
Must provide proof of successful completion of OSHA 10-hour training within 60 days of starting at hth companies.
