Travel MICU Registered Nurse - $2,806 per week

About the role

Refined Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit setting.
• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• At least one year of acute care experience preferred.
• Experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Passing scores on NCLEX-RN.
• Current BLS certification.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
