About the role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit to provide high-quality patient care for critically ill patients. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in managing complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and other critical conditions.
- Implement appropriate interventions to manage dysrhythmias and respiratory failure.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKG/ECG and ABGs.
- Administer medications, including IV insulin, and manage blood products.
- Provide care for ventilated patients and manage BiPAP/CPAP as needed.
- Maintain accurate intake and output records as well as urine output assessments.
- Assist in various procedures including central line insertion and chest tube management.
- Follow infection prevention protocols and manage isolation precautions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
Qualifications
Local candidates are welcome. No first-time travelers.
Skills
Extensive knowledge and experience in managing complex medical conditions.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
