Travel MFM Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - $2,243 per week

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital imaging services unit in Austin, Texas. The position involves performing ultrasound examinations using GE equipment within the Ultrasound department, with documentation in Meditech EMR.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 3 × 12-hour shifts (Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• Weekly hours: 36
• Start date: October 5, 2026
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Weekend shifts required
• Call requirement: 2 days per month

Responsibilities

• Perform maternal fetal medicine ultrasound examinations in a hospital imaging services unit
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment
• Document exams and findings in Meditech EMR
• Cover assigned weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday)
• Fulfill on-call obligation of two days per month

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• ARDMS certification with RDMS (OB/GYN) specialty
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (2 years preferred)
• Applicable state license (if required by facility)
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference (two references required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Scrub dress code: olive green top with black pants
