Travel Medical Telemetry RN - $2,996 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified travel nursing agency, is seeking a travel RN for a Telemetry PCU – Progressive Care Unit assignment in Portland, Maine. The assignment starts 10/12/2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 48 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, and is a travel position.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and for those receiving pharmaceutical management of illness
• Maintain proficiency in a wide variety of health conditions encountered in Med/Surg
• Complete assignments made by physicians
• Deliver routine treatment and post‑surgical care
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform appropriate treatments
• Administer medications
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and the treatment team
