Responsibilities
- Performing routine and moderately complex lab tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology
- Analyzing specimens
- Maintaining equipment
- Following quality control protocols
- Adhering to regulatory standards
- Specimen preparation
- Troubleshooting instruments
- Communicating results
- Supporting transfusion reactions
- Maintaining detailed records
- Managing lab supplies
Qualifications
- At least one year of recent lab experience
- Valid licenses, with preferred certifications from ASCP or equivalent
- Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (CMLT) or equivalent
- Current BLS certification
