Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all laboratory procedures.
• Interpret test results and report findings accurately to healthcare providers.
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Document all procedures and results in the medical record system.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Medical Technologist in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
