HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Spruce Pine, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex medical laboratory procedures under the supervision of a licensed medical technologist.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all laboratory tests and reports.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Candidates must have an Associates degree in clinical laboratory science/certified as MLT by ASCP, HEW, AMT, NCA or a Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science/certified as MT by ASCP, HEW, AMT, NCA.
• A high school diploma or equivalent/ completion of training or certification in phlebotomy from a recognized program is also acceptable.

Qualifications

Candidates must have the following:

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
