Travel Medical Technologist - $1,741 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a contract position in Draper, Utah. Start date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: Travel. The role is for a Medical Laboratory Technologist (Allied Health Professional) working 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Test blood and bodily fluids using complex laboratory equipment to obtain a wide variety of information.
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses, or parasites.
• Measure drug or chemical levels in blood to ensure medications are at therapeutic levels.
• Assess blood chemistry for nutrient deficiencies, cholesterol excesses, or blood sugar abnormalities.
• Utilize cell counters, cultures, microscopes, and other laboratory equipment.
• Follow laboratory protocols for analyzing, interpreting, and delivering test results.

Requirements

• Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW, or AAB.
• Minimum eighteen months of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Technician.
• State license may be required.
• Basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures, including operating laboratory equipment and generating reports from test results.
