The Vermont-based healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team on a day shift. This role involves providing patient care on a neurosurgical and surgical unit, with a focus on meeting the needs of diverse patient populations. The position requires flexibility with scheduling and a commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

Schedule

• Days; 12 hours per shift
• 36 hours per week
• Monday to Sunday, with no block scheduling for any reason
• Bi-weekly orientations on Monday
• Float rotation may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a neurosurgical and surgical unit

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of unit experience
• Prior travel experience
• Large teaching facility experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification prior to start
• Recent Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years
• Complete work history, including bed count, EMR, and facility type, is required for submission
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Reliable transportation or personal/rental vehicle strongly recommended due to limited public transit options in the area
