Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Portland, Maine. This role involves providing patient care in a 43-bed facility, focusing on respiratory, medical telemetry, and acute conditions. The position offers a flexible shift schedule and requires a commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
Schedule
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/02/2026
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years minimum experience
- Experience with ventilators
- Tracheostomy care
- Telemetry strip interpretation
- Located in Maine
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Adaptable to rapid changes
Additional Information
Must have experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care
Unit patient ratios: Day Shift Med/Surg 1:4-5, Night Shift Med/Surg 1:5-6, IMC 3:1
Equipment includes ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, trach care/maintenance
EMR: Epic
Dress code: Scrubs, unprofessional attire and non-hospital related logos are unacceptable

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
