This position involves providing patient care on a 30-bed medical surgical unit with telemetry capabilities, offering essential critical care experience, including monitoring and managing patients with various diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, congestive heart failure, COVID-19, and pulmonary embolism. The role emphasizes safe patient outcomes and clinical development within a supportive environment.
Job Details
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Specific skills including Telemetry, oxygen titration, moderate sedation, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow, and medical-surgical patient care
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty certifications such as Progressive Care Nursing or Medical-Surgical Nursing are advantageous.
Additional Information
- Onboarding includes validation of competencies on telemetry and mechanical ventilation at the LEAD center with subsequent unit orientation.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
