About the role

This position involves providing patient care on a 38-bed unit specializing in medical-surgical and telemetry patients with a focus on nephrology and urology. The role requires flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the organization during a temporary coverage period, replacing permanent staff. Shifts occur every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to med-surg and telemetry patients, including nephrology and urology cases.
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Adhere to unit dress code: scrubs of any color, no hoodies, logos/graphics, or open-toe shoes.
• Utilize EMR (EPIC) and collaborate as a team player.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current Maine licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in med-surg and telemetry.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am.
• Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
