About the Role
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in Reno, NV
- Location: 1155 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12 hours, days (minimum of 36 hours per week)
- Employment Type: Travel
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care within the medical-surgical and telemetry units, focusing on adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient outcomes
- Adhere to quality standards and collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal care
- Float rotation may be required to meet organizational needs to the extent of the candidate's competency level
- Will be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
- Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts depending on department needs
Required Qualifications
- NV RN license required prior to start
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Must pass a telemetry competency exam to include identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
- 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Strong assessment and care coordination skills
