Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,291 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients, specifically focusing on medical surgical and urology surgical patients. The nurse will monitor telemetry patients with a patient ratio of 1:6 and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and symptoms.
• Provide support for continuous bladder irrigation and management of stroke patients.
• Assist in the coordination of patient care with interdisciplinary support teams.
• Floating to various hospitals within the healthcare system as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical surgical/telemetry nursing.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Must pass a dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing the contract.
• Active state RN license is required at the time of submission.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
