Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,110 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Oncology RN) Night Shift in Alaska. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within a Magnet-designated facility, specializing in medical-surgical and oncology units. The role requires a proactive professional capable of managing complex patient needs, with some experience in chemotherapy administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in adult and geriatric populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Adhere to unit protocols

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• BLS certification
• Valid RN license in hand for auto-offer
• References covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Ability to complete Alaska RN license application within 48 hours of signing, including submitting fingerprints, application fee, and license application

Skills

• Med/Surg experience
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Peripheral line care/management
• Nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks
• Isolation precautions/PPE

Additional Qualifications

• Open to first-time travelers
• Preference for oncology experience and chemotherapy administration familiarity

Schedule

• Night shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
• Guaranteed minimum hours of 36 per week
