Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,185 per week

About the role

Located at the border between emergency room and medical-surgical units, this role involves providing high-volume, rapid-paced patient care within scope, including complex diagnoses and various patient care procedures. The position requires working nights and rotating between border units, with a focus on delivering quality care in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage adult and geriatric patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, including ED admissions, trauma, and complex neurological cases in a high-volume border environment (average census: 10–40 patients daily)
• Administer medications and manage IVs
• Provide advanced cardiac and respiratory care
• Perform invasive procedures
• Coordinate multidisciplinary support services
• Float within scope across ED borders and to IMC units
• Work every other weekend and scheduled holidays as they fall

Requirements

• Valid RN license in MD (or equivalent state license)
• BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications
• Minimum 0 years experience (2 years preferred)
• Experience with patient ratios of 6
• Charting experience (Epic preferred)
• Experience in community hospital or LTAC settings preferred
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced border environment

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:30–08:00)
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Orientation: 12 hours total
