Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,125 per week

About the role
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing compassionate patient care on med-surg floors including orthopedic, neurology, oncology, surgical telemetry, and other units. The nurse must be willing to float across various med-surg units and to a different campus location within the organization.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend and holiday requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a fast-paced med-surg/telemetry environment
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and clinical judgment
- Adapt to different unit protocols and diverse patient needs
- Float across med-surg floors including Orthopedics, Neurology, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele
- Float to a different campus location 9.5 miles from the main facility
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Minimum one year of nursing experience
- Willingness to float across med-surg units and to a different campus location
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
