Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $1,935 per week

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse Nights in Northport, Alabama. This position involves providing patient-centered care in a multi-specialty unit primarily focused on medical-surgical and telemetry care. The role offers an opportunity to develop nursing skills within a supportive team environment that emphasizes family and teamwork values.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care on a unit specializing in medical and surgical patients, including those undergoing orthopedic procedures and general surgeries
• Focus on pain management, mobility, and complication prevention
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed
• Support a nurse/patient ratio of 1:6
• Work with a Team Leader to ensure staffing coverage

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or a Compact license (Temporary licenses are not accepted)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross Certification

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience preferred
• Candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license and at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty will also be considered
• Minimum 0 years of experience required

Schedule

• Night shifts
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week minimum
