Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) nurses in Alabama are sought for a temporary assignment at an acute care facility. Responsibilities

• Care for patients in a 36-bed telemetry unit that diagnoses and treats various respiratory disorders
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients with respiratory disorders
• Deliver high-quality, collaborative patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Work adaptably and collaboratively across multiple units

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Alabama or a Compact license
• Associate degree in nursing
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience (or 18 months with relevant recent experience)
• Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Willingness to float to other units and hospitals
• Current NURSYS license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in telemetry and pulmonary care units
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Flexible to work holidays and every other weekend

Schedule

• Night shifts
• 12 hours per shift
• 36 hours per week
