About the role
Medical Surgical and Telemetry Registered Nurse position available in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves providing patient care in a float-pool capacity across multiple facilities, including Northwest Medical Center and other associated hospitals. The assignment offers flexible night shifts.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Minimum 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role demands critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, and clinical competence. The RN will delegate patient care priorities and supervise staff as needed.
Requirements
- Active Arizona nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Ability to float between departments and facilities
- Valid certifications as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system
Float Details
Float rotation may be required between four facilities:
- Northwest Medical Center
- Oro Valley Hospital
- Northwest Houghton
- Northwest Sahuarita
