Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN - $1,903 per week

About the role

A Hospital in Iowa is looking for an experienced MedSurg RN for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS, and IA license (or compact).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assess patients’ needs and develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to healthcare providers.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state.
• At least 2 years of recent, relevant clinical experience in MedSurg setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for travel nursing and flexible scheduling.

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).

Pay

Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. A Hospital in Iowa is offering a pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
