Travel Medical-Surgical Stepdown RN - $2,083 per week

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 8-week assignment starting on August 11, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Work in a progressive care unit (PCU) setting
• Provide step-down care to patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a PCU RN
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and composure
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations
• Pass a background check and drug screen

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a PCU RN is preferred, but exceptional candidates with a strong passion may be considered
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
