Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $3,005 per week

Job Summary

This position involves providing inpatient care on a medical-surgical unit, managing acutely ill adult patients with a variety of diagnoses including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal issues, and more. The role requires adaptability to shift changes and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with trauma level II experience highly preferred
• Charting experience with EPIC required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

• The unit is a Medical and Pediatrics (non-Pediatric Patients) specifically for adult patients with conditions such as respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological and gastrointestinal conditions, diabetic management, renal failure, infectious diseases, and more.
• Typical patient ratios are 1:4-5 during the day and 1:6-7 at night.
• Candidates should demonstrate resilience, independence, and a positive attitude, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
• During flu season, a mandatory mask policy applies for unvaccinated travelers.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
