- Patient Ratios: 1:6, occasional 1:7 with surge
- Staffing Description: Unit Secretary (day shift only) and LNA’s for both shifts
- Type of Equipment: Telemetry
- Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
- Scheduling Requirements: 3- 12 hours shifts, e/o weekend and rotating holidays
- Floating Policy: Float to same level of care
- Patient Experience Requirements: Bedside Shift Report, Hourly Safety Rounding, Personal Connections
Hospital Details
- Certifications Required: BLS, IV certification
- Procedures Performed: CBI, Wound Care, drain management (chest tubes, Jackson Pratt etc), Foley insertion, central line dressing changes, telemetry monitoring, EKGs PRN
