Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Night Shift – a facility in the region is seeking a highly qualified registered nurse for a 36‑ or 48‑hour contract. The position involves caring for patients on a medical‑surgical unit, including medical observation, COPD, pneumonia, infections, and urinary tract infections. The role requires proficiency with Bi‑Pap and high‑flow oxygen therapies.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients on a medical‑surgical unit
• Perform medical observation and manage conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, infections, and urinary tract infections
• Demonstrate proficiency with Bi‑Pap and high‑flow oxygen therapies
• Work every other weekend as required

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical‑surgical specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Located at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
• Verifiable permanent address

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high‑flow oxygen therapy and Bi‑Pap settings
• Comfortable managing high‑flow oxygen therapies and general observation units

Schedule

• Nights, 10‑hour shifts
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
