Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) Location: Vermont/New Hampshire. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical floor with a focus on neuro, neuromuscular, and surgical cases. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care including management of chest tubes, IV drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone
Post-surgical line and drain care
Trachs/Laryngectomies
Telemetry monitoring
Complex wound care
Central line maintenance
Blood draws
On-call availability required
Support patients with neuromuscular disorders, stroke, TBI, spinal cord injuries
Support surgical cases including tumor resections, spinal surgery, and head and neck cancer
Facility is designated as a Level IV Epilepsy Center, the only one in Vermont and New Hampshire

Qualifications

No minimum experience required
Current nursing licensure
Relevant certifications for post-surgical patient care
Relevant certifications for telemetry
Relevant certifications for complex wound management

Schedule

Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
