Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $2,230 per week
Job Summary
This full-time night shift position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a med-surg setting focused on postsurgical patients, including orthopedics, general surgery, and neuro populations. The role requires practicing independently while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification from AHA
- RN License in state of employment or a compact license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a related specialty or similar clinical setting
Responsibilities
- Deliver routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
- Monitor treatments and medications, document patient history and care, and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
- Make appropriate clinical judgments and delegate tasks as necessary to support patient care
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC electronic health record experience
