Job Summary

Mauston, Wisconsin. The Medical-Surgical Floor Registered Nurse position offers an opportunity for professional nursing care within a dynamic healthcare environment. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating patient care for a diverse patient population. The nurse must be adaptable to changing patient needs and unit requirements, providing care to Medical-Surgical and Emergency Intensive Care Unit patients.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process throughout the patient's hospitalization
• Ensure individualized care
• Respond effectively to life-threatening situations
• Administer medications
• Provide patient education
• Document in electronic medical records
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe and effective care

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in nursing required
• Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PALS encouraged
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required

Schedule

• Days, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Float rotation may be required
