About the role
Medical Surgical Floor Nursing position in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing patient care in a telemetry-equipped environment with a focus on medical/surgical nursing. The position requires at least two years of med/surg experience, familiarity with electronic health records, and the ability to work night shifts within a travel assignment.
Schedule
- Night shift
- 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a telemetry-equipped medical/surgical environment
- Adhere to established clinical protocols and maintain safety standards
- Float rotation may be required to sites within a 40-mile radius or within the same skill set
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- At least 2 years of med/surg experience
- Telemetry background
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (EPIC)
- Travel experience
- Valid driver’s license or state ID
- Professional profile verification
- Three professional references
- Current resume
- No artificial or acrylic nails; nails must be kept short (no longer than 1/4 inch)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reading telemetry reads
- Experience working in travel nursing environments
