About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Care for adult and geriatric patients with a range of medical and surgical needs in a supportive hospital environment
- Assess patient conditions
- Administer medications
- Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Active Louisiana RN license or compact eligibility
- At least 1-2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (copy needed)
- Social Security Number required
- Date of Birth required
- 2 references in entire work history
Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Pay
Pay Rate: $2082.00 - $2188.00 per week. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
