Job Summary

A Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) Nurse position is available in Wyoming. The role involves providing direct, patient-centered nursing care to a diverse group of medical patients on a temporary basis. The Med/Surg Nurse will follow established protocols and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a reputable facility.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
• At least 0 years of clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a community hospital setting is desirable

Responsibilities

• Preparing and administering medications
• Monitoring vital signs
• Responding to life-saving situations
• Educating patients
• Performing procedures such as dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts
• Participation in discharge planning

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
