Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $2,115 per week
Job Summary
The Medical Surgical Nursing (MS) specialty position is located in Decatur, Illinois. This role involves providing comprehensive care on a medical-surgical floor within an acute care hospital setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of patient diagnoses and utilizing advanced skills to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Certifications required: BLS.
- Active Illinois license or application process with ETA for approval.
- No minimum experience specified but a minimum of 2 years' experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Telemetry and remote monitoring experience.
- Gastrointestinal (GI) and renal case skills.
- IV therapy and phlebotomy skills.
- Medication administration including Heparin and Insulin.
- Respiratory management.
- Proficiency in Cerner charting system.
Additional Information
- Manage complex patient cases such as GI bleed, sepsis, infections, amputations, and trauma.
- Adequately adhere to hospital protocols including isolation precautions and wound care.
- Complete compliance documentation, including lab appointments, Docusign, and badge photo, within 1 week of contract signing.
- Orientation is conducted virtually on Day 1, with all module requirements completed by 4:00 PM CST.
