The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment based at a healthcare facility in Thornton, Colorado. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical floor that handles post-operative surgical patients and cardiac drips. Unit Information
- Type: Medical Surgical Floor with orthopedics and overflow pediatric patients
- Bed Capacity: 29 beds, with additional pediatric overflow up to 39 beds
- Staffing: 8 RNs, additional staff (ACT) from 10am-10pm, patient ratio 5:1
- Equipment: Remote telemetry
- EMR System: Meditech

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a Medical Surgical floor, specifically for post-operative surgical patients and cardiac drips
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 1-year current Med/Surg RN acute care experience
- CPR certification (Basic Life Support)
- Current Meditech EMR experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience with cardiac drips such as amiodarone and diltiazem
- Experience with post-operative surgical care

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
